Beef and Thai Basil Stir-Fry

  1. Cook rice noodles according to package directions. In a small bowl combine soy sauce, dark soy sauce, fish sauce, and sugar. Stir well to combine and set aside. In a medium bowl combine 1 tsp. of oil, 2 tsp. of corn starch, and 12oz of thinly sliced beef.
  2. Heat a large wok over medium-high heat and add 1 Tbsp. of oil. Sear the beef until slightly brown, about 2 minutes. Remove beef from the wok and set aside.
  3. Add 1 Tbsp. of oil to the wok along with the garlic and red peppers. Stir fry for 30 seconds and then add the onions and continue stirring until onions are caramelized. Toss in the beef, sauce, and noodles. Continue to stir-fry until well combined. Fold in the Thai basil and cook for another 20-30 seconds. Garnish with fresh cilantro.
